Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring system uptime, and driving cloud-native best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is an expert in Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps processes, and observability tooling.
Job Details
- Observability & Monitoring: Set up and manage observability tooling across the infrastructure to ensure system health and performance monitoring.
- Infrastructure Health & Uptime: Maintain and enhance the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
- Kubernetes & Orchestration: Manage Kubernetes clusters and other container orchestration tools to support microservices-based architectures.
- System Architecture & Design: Provide expert advice on system architecture and design for both existing and new products, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- CI/CD Management: Develop, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support development teams.
- DevOps & Cloud-Native Adoption: Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, automation, and cloud-native principles across the organization.
- Developer Experience Platform: Set up and manage internal developer experience platforms to enhance developer productivity and streamline workflows.
- Platform Engineering & Squad Support: Design, implement, and maintain platform capabilities that enable product squads to independently deploy and operate their services, including self-service infrastructure, standardized templates, and automated workflows.
- Documentation: Establish and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures
Requirements
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration tools (EKS, AKS, GKE, etc.).
- Strong experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu,.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Go, or similar).
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and system reliability principles.
- Experience implementing SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, Consul, etc.).
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.).
- Previous experience in setting up and managing an internal developer platform.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Engineer, etc.).
